| Gcode 2000 v24.2 - is specifically designed for converting AutoCAD drawings into G-Code files for use with any 2-D or 3-D machine, such as wire EDMs, laser etchers, and flame cutters. The program can be used for creating complex tool paths for 2-D and 3-D machines, enabling you to use custom INI files to tailor it to your particular machine tool. Gcode 2000 can be a low cost opportunity for small independent machine shops to convert their drawings into useful programs for their CNC and DNC equipment without the hassle of figuring out the geometry manually. You simply draw the outline of your machine part on a dedicated layer, DXF out the file to a directory monitored by the program, capture the file, and process and plot it. The program also includes an editor that can handle up to one million lines to help you fine tune the file adding tool offsets. You can process lines, arcs, rectangles, circles, ellipses, and other figures; sort objects by size; flip any given part; scale it; change its traveling direction; and graph it. In addition, Gcode 2000 allows you to save and retrieve your files across a network, modify the characters associated with a command, select any axis combination, and view any of several included working examples. |
