Because ERD Commander relies on a standard set of NT boot floppies, any NT system is accessible, and because ERD Commander runs on top of NT/2000, all NT/2000 file systems, including FAT, NTFS, and CDFS are visible. ERD Commander comes with a built-in registry editor and a built-in file editor. It has batch file support, it can restore emergency repair disk images, and it has command and output logging.

If you need a file in several positions on your partition, you do not have to copy them anymore. HardLinker lets you simply create a hardlink. The file system keeps a hardlink reference counter on each file. A file can be deleted only when you delete the last hardlink to it.
